M33 OPERATIONS CENTER  M33’s philosophy is simple; companies that collaborate in their transportation are more efficient and cost-effective than companies that go it alone. This concept is not new; it’s been attempted, largely unsuccessful, for decades. But the last decade has proven that it was never the idea that was flawed. The labor needed to coordinate such activities made the concept prohibitive to business at the time. The recent technology revolution provided the vehicle for success where others have failed, and M33 Integrated Solutions stepped into that vacuum with a customizable Transportation Management System (TMS).M33 maintains an administrative office in Greenville, SC, but the heart of our business lies in our Operations (Ops) Center in Greensboro, NC. The M33 Ops Center is emblematic of our fast-paced style and innovative co-management philosophy.
Inside the Ops Center, our Logistics Coordinators (LCs) monitor and co-manage clients’ freight activities to ensure they’re reaching peak efficiencies and on-time customer deliveries. LCs are assigned to individual accounts that they observe throughout the day serving as a quality control measure making changes to potential problems before they become customer service issues. LC's are linked to their clients by a private instant messaging system, allowing them to quickly react to anything that may arise. The LCs also keep an eye on load tables identifying cross-client collaborative opportunities and looking for any last-second changes from their customers. And as our bi-annual Customer Satisfaction Survey continually indicates, our clients are very pleased with the effectiveness of this approach.
