INDUSTRY INVOLVEMENT & AWARDS

As the field of logistics has evolved over the years, we at M33 have taken a proactive role in shaping and growing the industry. Our success in this endeavor has resulted in recognition from several independent parties, and has allowed us to prepare our clients for changes before they become operational issues.

Here are some examples of our recent awards and ongoing industry involvement:

	M33 was honored as one of “South Carolina’s Fastest-Growing Companies” in 2007, 2008 and 2009. The award is conferred by the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce, in conjunction with The Capital Corporation.
	M33 was recognized as one of the 5000 Fastest-Growing Private Companies in America in 2007, 2008 and 2009. The award is conferred by Inc.com.
	M33’s Operations Center in Greensboro, North Carolina won the “Best Places to Work” award in 2007, and was the first runner-up in 2008. The award is conferred by the Triad Business Journal.
	The Education Foundation of the Better Business Bureau (BBB) Upstate recognized M33 as a finalist for the 2008 Business Integrity Awards.
	As an EPA-certified SmartWay Partner, M33 maintains a ranking of 1.25, which is among the best in the industry. As a result, our logistical efforts have led to significant increases in measurable air quality and carbon reduction.
	M33 is a member organization of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals, and two of our managers currently preside over the local Upstate (SC) and Triad (NC) CSCMP Roundtables.
	M33 is a member organization of the American Trucking Association (ATA), and one of our managers sits on the association’s Information, Technology & Logistics Council.
	M33 is an associate member of The National Industrial Transportation League (NITL), and several M33 employees attend the organization’s annual TransComp exposition.
	M33 is an associate member of SMC3, which helps our carrier relations department stay informed of the latest in industry and pricing expertise.
	M33 maintains a corporate membership in the Transportation Intermediaries Association (TIA), which helps us better communicate with other shippers, carriers, and government officials in Congress and the Administration.
	M33 is party to National Shippers Strategic Transportation Council (NASSTRAC), which helps to shape industry best practices.
	M33 staff are members of National Motor Freight Traffic Association (NMFTA), which publishes the Standard Carrier Alpha Code (SCAC) and the Standard Point Location Code (SPLC).
	Several M33 personnel are actively involved with the North Carolina League of Transportation & Logistics (NCLTL), whose mission is to organize shippers and receivers of freight in order to network, take common action, stimulate public interest and promote the wellbeing of the transportation infrastructure.
	M33 is a business partner of INDA, the Association of the Nonwoven Fabrics Industry.
	M33 is an associate member of the Flexible Packaging Association, one of the leading trade associations for converters of flexible packaging and suppliers to the industry.
